2018. The first day of the rest of my life. I’m ready to take on the world and my plans for this year are almost ready to happen. 2018. The first day of the rest of my life.
I know it’s been quite awhile since I’ve updated everyone on the Four Foot Rule project, but a TON of things have happened since this group was first announced. First of all, it’s always been about the music. Music that comes from the heart with a group of musicians who feel the same way. After months of playing and practicing, a decision was made to end our sessions and move on. Not that we wanted to, but because we had to.
Fast forward to now. It seems as though we’re pretty much right back where we started a year ago. It’s too damn bad because I really thought and hoped we had something going. Four Foot Rule will continue… Who we end up playing with to make it work is something only God and the future knows!

Four Foot Rule is an awesome new project from four guys who live in the suburbs of the Tacoma, WA area. Our style tends to be a little bit on the sleazy side, which is just fine with us!
We’ll be adding photos, show dates and music updates right here and on our new Facebook and Twitter pages.
Thanks for stopping by… We look forward to seeing all of you at an upcoming show!
“Dirty rock ‘n roll and folded dollar bills!”
I can’t believe it’s been almost 9 months since I’ve blogged on here! So much has changed in my life over these months… Since starting my guitar strap business, I ended up selling my 1950 ‘El Buicko’ and got a 1964 VW Bug I’ve named ‘Das Zombie’. My mom ended up in the hospital once again, but this time we had to look for assisted living options for her upon release. The bank decided that they wanted our family home more than we did, so we went house shopping and found a beautiful new place just a few miles away.
In February, we finally got the keys and began moving in. Since I started doing custom auto upholstery again, I immediately set up a new shop/workspace in my garage to keep my customers happy. I began working on my Bug again. Recording new music and wrapping up songs for my next album are currently on hold until summer at this point.
Now it’s May… Our son is almost a 7th grader. Life goes by too damn quick. The last 9 months have been literally the best and worst months of my family’s lives. But we did it together and everyone is now happier as we move on to the next chapter!
